Course & venue information

Venue

At many venues, there is a reception area on arrival. Ask for the net101 AI course and staff will direct you from there.

Arrival time

Please aim to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so we can begin on time.

Course times

Courses start promptly and finish no later than the advertised finish time, though some sessions may end slightly earlier.

Bringing a device

You are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet, but this is optional rather than required. This is not a hands-on computer lab, so you will still get full value from the session without a device. Wireless internet will be available in the room. I will make every effort to provide access to power, but this cannot be guaranteed, so please arrive with your device fully charged.

What to wear

Dress casually and comfortably. Training rooms can sometimes be quite cool due to air conditioning, so bringing an extra layer is recommended.

Lunch and refreshments

Lunch is included. Depending on the city and venue, this may be served on site or provided as a voucher for a nearby food outlet. Where lunch is provided on site, dietary requirements can be accommodated. Where a voucher is provided, you will be able to choose from the available options nearby. Most venues also have tea and coffee facilities. There are always nearby places to buy food and hot drinks if you prefer. You are also welcome to bring your own food. Any food or drinks you bring with you or purchase nearby can be brought back into the room and consumed there.

Deferments

If you are unable to attend for medical reasons, please contact me as soon as possible. Deferments require at least 24 hours’ notice before the course starts, are limited to one per booking and are not eligible for a refund.
