This course is designed for people who are already using ChatGPT and want more reliable, higher-quality results in a professional context. It focuses on how ChatGPT behaves in practice, how its core capabilities fit together, and how to work more effectively with context, iteration, research, data, and outputs.
Learning pathway
This course is delivered as the second part of a two-course sequence when taken alongside Foundations of AI at Work (click to view course details). In that sequence, Foundations of AI at Work runs one week earlier, on the same day, and establishes the broader thinking, limits, and risk considerations that underpin advanced use. This provides a clear progression from foundational understanding into more advanced, professional-grade application.
Both courses can also be taken as standalone programs. Organisations that book both courses together receive a 20% discount on each course (20% off the combined price) and typically treat them as two parts of a single learning program.
Prerequisites and participation
There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, it is strongly recommended that participants have either completed Foundations of AI at Work or have been working with a paid ChatGPT licence for some time. This course assumes familiarity with everyday use and does not cover introductory concepts or basic prompting. The focus is on advanced techniques and professional-grade use.
Bringing a laptop or device is optional. The course is designed to be valuable whether participants are working hands-on or engaging through discussion and examples. The program is updated over time as new ChatGPT capabilities and features emerge, ensuring the content remains current and relevant.
